Description

The MicroSENS 140-HS CO2 gas sensor offers a reliable and precise solution for measuring 5 vol.%CO2 in cell incubators. The sensor head is mounted in the incubation chamber. The diffusion sensor measures the concentration of carbon dioxide and enables optimal conditions for the growth of cell and tissue cultures. Based on the IR absorption of the gas molecules present, the sensor determines the CO2 concentration in the incubator chamber.

With its IR dual-beam method, the NDIR gas sensor enables stable and reliable measurements. It convinces with an impressive lifetime and allows the highest number of sterilization cycles on the market. Sterilization by hot air at typ. 140 °C ensures easy decontamination and minimizes maintenance. The sensor head does not need to be removed during sterilization. Customers get two advantages: contamination protection and the CO2 measuring channel is also sterilized. This ensures safe operation and increases the reliable use of your cell incubator.

The sensor is both temperature and pressure compensated. It also has humidity compensation for precise measurement results.

Our product offers a digital interface for easy integration into your existing infrastructure. All MicroSENS sensors come with identical feedthrough in the incubator rear panel. This feature minimizes your integration and replacement effort.

Due to our 5-point calibration, the carbon dioxide sensor has a improved linearity compared to conventional 3-point calibrated sensors. Achieve more precise CO2 measurement results not only at the usual 5 vol. %, but over the entire measuring range.

We use high-quality core components and electronic modules from our own production. So you can rely on high reliability in the supply chain. The use of heat-resistant components reduces the damaging effect of high temperatures on service life. Our materials are subject to the most stringent quality controls. You can rely on a long service life of the gas sensor and a high supply reliability.
