Description
The four-channel thermopile is particularly suitable for demanding applications in environments from -20 to 85 °C. Backgassing with krypton supports the particularly high detectivity of up to 6.27*108 cm√Hz/W and sensitivity of up to 171 V/W. This signal quality is comparable to pyroelectric detectors. The integrated thermistor for reference temperature determination completes the detector. The four-channel thermopile is optimized for gas analysis during anesthesia by four optical filters for the single gases carbon dioxide (CO2) (CWL: 4265 ± 25, HBW: 120 ± 10 nm), nitrous oxide (N2O) (CWL: 4525 ± 20, HBW: 83 ± 6 nm), desflurane (CWL: 8224 ± 40, HBW: 240 ± 24 nm) and isoflurane (CWL: 8550 ± 40, HBW: 180 ± 18 nm). Medical technology, especially patient and anesthetic gas monitoring, are typical fields of application for the MTS4SENS200 anesthesia.
The quad detector MTS4SENS200 anesthesia is based on 4 sensor chips with 200 bismuth antimony/antimony thermocouples each. Thermal diffusion currents between the different metals, which occur when infrared radiation impinges on them, generate the measurement signal through the resulting electrical voltage (Seebeck effect). The 200 thermocouples per sensor chip ensure very high detectivity.
Our sales team will be happy to advise you on customer-specific adaptations and scale prices for high volumes.
