Description
With its very high detectivity of up to 6.27*108 cm√Hz/W and a sensitivity of up to 171 V/W, the 4-channel detector is the high-end solution for demanding test applications. The detector is designed for the following gases: water vapor (H2O) (CWL: 6580 ± 40, HBW: 200 ± 35 nm), carbon dioxide (CO2) (CWL: 4265 ± 25, HBW: 120 ± 10 nm) and alcoholic compounds (CWL: 9663 ± 80, HBW: 240 ± 40 nm).
These signal values, which are comparable to those of pyro detectors, are achieved by the interaction of chip design, an integrated thermistor for reference temperature determination, an interference absorber and back gassing with krypton. The precise measurement results are further secured by the reference channel (CWL: 3910 ± 28, HBW: 70 ± 10 nm).
The basis of the MTS4SENS200 TEST is formed by four sensor chips, each with 200 bismuth-antimony/antimony thermocouples. The measurement signal is generated by an electrical voltage. This is generated by thermal diffusion currents between the different metals (Seebeck effect) in the detector chip. The IR thermopile is suitable for test setups and gauging at ambient temperatures between -20 and 85 °C. The optical filter window is specially designed for use at high temperatures. The optical filter window is specially designed for NDIR gas analysis.
Our sales team will be happy to discuss customization with you, as well as scale pricing for larger order quantities.
