Quad JSIR 350-4 emitter, TO8 with reflector, open side view

Description

Premium IR emitter with 4 chips on TO8 header for measuring gases in very low concentrations or gases with low absorption characteristics. The version in the standard TO8 housing with a reflector without a window is also suitable for long measuring distances from 30 cm. Worldwide unique, this MEMS-based counterpart to the filament emitter has a significantly higher lifetime and less drift.

Unlike filament infrared sources, the JSIR 350 Quad emitter is modulatable/pulsable and does not require an additional chopper.
The high-performance nanoamorphous carbon diaphragm achieves diaphragm temperatures up to 850 °C for high and long-term stable radiation output. The JSIR 350 Quad IR emitter is ideal for various gas analysis applications in medical, industrial aerospace and other demanding applications.

The IR illuminator can be used with MTS thermopile detectors or with MPS pyro detectors. The combination with Micro-Hybrid IR detectors guarantees optimum performance and ensures precise measurement results when analyzing gas concentrations.
