Description
A high sensitivity 4 channel detector for the measurement of carbon monoxide (CO) (CWL: 4650 ± 40, HBW: 180 ± 20 nm), carbon dioxide (CO2) (CWL: 4265 ± 25, HBW: 120 ± 10 nm) and hydrocarbons (CWL: 3400 ± 20, HBW: 140 ± 20 nm) with reference channel (CWL: 3910 ± 28, HBW: 70 ± 10 nm).
The basis of the IR thermopile MTS4SENS200 3C-1 carbon dioxide is formed by 4 chips with 200 bismuth antimony/antimony thermopairs each. Thanks to them and the filling of the TO package with krypton, a very high detectivity of up to 6.27*108 cm√Hz/W and sensitivity of up to 171 V/W is achieved. The signal quality is comparable to pyroelectric detectors, providing an additional alternative in the NDIR component range.
The detector can be used at ambient temperatures between -20 and 85 °C in numerous industrial, aerospace and medical applications: Exhaust gas measurement on vehicles, process analysis or industrial gas measurement.
An integrated thermistor for reference temperature determination and an interference absorber ensure that the signal is converted as efficiently as possible from radiant energy to thermal energy. The thermocouples then convert thermal energy to electrical energy.
Customer-specific adaptations are possible at any time. Our sales team will be happy to advise you on this, as well as on graduated prices for an inquiry in larger quantities.
