The development of OEM modules for gas analysis requires extensive experience, modern technologies and electronics engineering at the highest level. In detail, a close and good coordination of a multitude of parameters regarding sample gas, measuring range and operating conditions is essential. Our application experts advise from the idea to the delivery of the finished series product.

Since May 2022, Jeffrey Knossalla has been leading the sensor development department at Micro-Hybrid. His mission: to drive the advancement of complex sensor technologies and develop new solutions for demanding applications.

At first glance, an IR emitter product code may look like a random string of letters and numbers, hinting at size, power, or packaging. But at Micro-Hybrid, the code represents something much deeper. It encodes deliberate engineering choices - decisions about performance, environmental resilience, optical design, and long-term stability. The product code reflects a structured technology platform, not a random collection of variants.

With the opening of our branch office 10 years ago, the company established the foundation for the expansion of a now internationally important business area of the company: The development and production of customized gas sensors.

The expansion of production capacities in Germany, with the opening of the branch in Münchenbernsdorf, made it possible from 2011 to manufacture gas sensors as well as automated assembly of printed circuit boards and manual assembly.
