Location: Tucson, AZ

Your Tasks

  • Get in touch with existing and new customers to identify their technical requirements and provide expert guidance
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value
  • Develop a long-term key account strategy with clear target definitions for our NDIR gas sensors
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of business plans for individual customers
  • Conduct regular customer visits and attend trade shows and conferences
  • Prepare forecasts and report directly to the sales management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ offerings

Your Profile

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical engineering, Technical Sales, Business engineering or a comparable field
  • Relevant professional experience in electrical engineering and sales, e.g. as an electrical engineer, sales manager, industrial engineer, ideally in the field of sensor technology (sectors: medical, environmental or industrial)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the design and function of gas sensors: emitters, detectors and filters
  • Understanding of calibration and measurement inaccuracies as well as temperature compensation
  • Business fluent English language skills
  • Strong market knowledge of the American sales territory
  • Excellent technical understanding and enthusiasm for our solutions
  • Assertiveness, strong communication skills, and negotiation expertise
  • Structured working style and a team player mentality
