Triathlete Robin Schneider rides his Bike through Kailua, Hawaii

Ironman Robin Schneider (29) has achieved an incredible physical performance and took part in the 40th Ironman Hawaii with us as main sponsor. With over 30 degrees and announced rain the conditions on 13 October were again tightened. At 19:05 CET on the dot the starting signal was given for one of the toughest competitions worldwide.

For years the two-time amateur world champion of the middle class has been working towards this day - he completed his first triathlon in 2003. In spring 2018 he qualified for the Ironman Santa Rosa with a victory for the IRONMAN  in Kona on Hawaii.

On Big Island Robin crossed the finish line after 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running with a total time of 9h10. Until the end he went to his limits and beyond. Absolute will, fighting spirit and the support of a huge fan community brought him to his goal.

16th place in the overall ranking of his age group  - a sovereign performance! We   are happy with him and take our hat off to this result. Simply great!
