UVC disinfection for incubators

Every year, more than 63,000 children are born prematurely in Germany. Worldwide, the issue even affects almost 10 percent of all births. In the first weeks of life, premature babies are cared for in so-called incubators.

These should be disinfected continuously, which is complicated due to the chemical disinfectants usually used. UVC radiation offers itself here as a technological alternative.

Site anniversary in Münchenbernsdorf!

With the opening of our branch office 10 years ago, the company established the foundation for the expansion of a now internationally important business area of the company: The development and production of customized gas sensors.

 

The expansion of production capacities in Germany, with the opening of the branch in Münchenbernsdorf, made it possible from 2011 to manufacture gas sensors as well as automated assembly of printed circuit boards and manual assembly.

Finalist at the Thuringian Innovation Award

With the development of optical "harsh enviroment" gas sensors based on strong IR components, we made it into the top 3 in the category "Light and Life" at the Thuringian Innovation Award 2021.

A 19-member jury reviewed and evaluated a total of 81 applications in 5 categories. Decisions are made according to criteria such as degree of innovation, entrepreneurial performance, functionality and economic success.
